Luke and Julisa Haines

Guest speakers Luke and Julisa Haines will present the program at the next Great Bend Aglow Lighthouse meeting, on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St. Fellowship will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the meeting at 9:30 a.m.

The Haineses’ story began April 27, 1996 with an “I do.” They have six beautiful children, three of them being two amazing sons-in-law, and one incredible daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. Luke is the owner and operator of Roofmasters Roofing and Sheet Metal in Hays, and Julisa is the owner of Julisa Haines Photography. She is also a Bible Teacher for a women’s Bible study.

Ministry had never been on their bucket list, but God promises that He does know the plans He has for our lives, and that His word is a lamp unto our feet. God began to lead them into new paths, and recently He has led them to open the doors of Family Worship Center located in Hays where Pastor Darrell Sutton from Red Cloud, Neb., comes to minister the Word of God, with a clear message to produce spiritual growth in the people who gather with them each week. They are believers in the full gospel of Jesus Christ and live to preach His good news and share His heart’s desire to see people set free. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.”

Luke and Julisa have been instrumental in setting up meetings in Hays to promote Revival Fires in the Heartland in Hays, as well as other ministry, filling spiritual needs of the people. It is wonderful to see all the young couples joining them on Friday nights for worship in the Spirit and the preaching of a powerful message.
