CONWAY — A Lyons man was taken to McPherson Hospital with injuries on Saturday after a car-truck crash on U.S. 56 in McPherson County, 2.5 miles west of Conway.
A 2015 Volvo driven by William E. Weidlich, 49, from Vadalia, Ohio, was westbound around 10:15 p.m. and struck an eastbound 1998 Dodge Dakota driven by Thad Lee Bagby, 37, of Lyons, when the Dodge crossed the center line. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Weidlich, who was not injured, was wearing a seat belt. The patrol had not determined whether Bagby was wear a seat belt or not.
