The Friends of Cheyenne Bottoms Annual Meeting will be at  6 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center, 592 NE K-156. Members will be treated to a burger and brat barbecue followed by a presentation on nocturnal animals presented by KWEC Education director Jean Aycock. A short annual business meeting will follow the presentation.
$25 memberships and renewals will be available for purchase the day of the meeting.
 Following the meeting, FOCB members and the public are encouraged to attend the Lyrid meteor shower watch with Fort Hays State University Astronomy Club members scheduled to start at 9 p.m.
