A new group for nature enthusiasts, Cheyenne Bottoms Naturalists, will hold its first meeting from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center.
Each month, the CBN will meet to learn about a different nature topic from KWEC staff and guest speakers. Each meeting will also include fun hands-on activities, sponsors said.
This month’s topic will be “Everyday Naturalists.” Participants can learn what being a naturalist involves, easy ways to include nature in their lives, and fun activities to get the whole family involved in the outdoors. Weather permitting, there will also be a nature hike.
