Additional name added to HMS Principal’s Honor Roll

HOISINGTON — Hoisington Middle School student Tanner Blackwell has been added to the second nine weeks Principal’s Honor Roll.

Hoisington Swinging Stars to host anniversary dance

HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Swinging Stars will host a 31st anniversary Sunday Special square dance at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at the Concordia Lutheran Church basement, 9th (W Hwy 4) & Clay St, Hoisington. Caller will be Jim Hayes, of New Braunfels, Texas.

Rotary Club to hold St. Pat’s Irish stew dinner

ELLINWOOD — The Ellinwood Rotary Club will hold a St. Patrick’s Irish stew dinner from 5-7 p.m. on March 15 at the Ellinwood High School commons area.

The cost is a $5 donation per ticket, which are available from Rotary members or at the door. A second bow is $3.

A portion of the proceeds go to the eradication of polio.
