Toys for Tots applications available
HOISINGTON — Applications for Toys for Tots are available at the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce, Hoisington City Office or Hoisington Food Bank. Applications are due back as soon as possible and no later than Friday, Dec. 7.

Hudson holds annual Turnip Festival
HUDSON — Hudson’s Annual Turnip Festival will be at 3 p.m. on Nov. 4. Events for the afternoon include a trolley ride to the turnip patch, gathering of the turnips contests, turnip cook-off followed the the “Ode to the Turnip: poetry contest and the decorated Mr. turnip Head Competition.
