USD 112 to meet

LORRAINE — The USD 112 school board will meet in Holyrood at 6 p.m. on Jan. 10 at the Quivira Heights Elementary School and Junior High Library.

Items on the agenda include presentation of the Governor’s Achievement Award, USD 112 Hall of Fame, February and March Time Lines, 2011-12 calendar, the future of senior trips, extra curricular activities, goals and a personnel resignation.

Ellinwood FFA holds annual sausage sale

ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood Future Farmers of America will be taking orders for sausage(seasoned/unseasoned) and ribs until Jan. 14. Sausage will be sold for $2.50 per pound.

All money raised will benefit Ellinwood FFA. Ribs will also be packaged in two pound packages.

USD 355 to meet

ELLINWOOD — The USD 355 school board will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 10 at the Ellinwood School/Community Library.

Items on the agenda include accountability and assessments, cell policy, transportation, budget update, permanent Eagle Logo and executive session.

Recreation Youth Basketball registration open

ELLINWOOD — The Ellinwood Recreation Youth Basketball Registration is now open for third to sixth grade girls and boys. Team will be divided into two groups; third/fourth grade and fifth/sixth grade.

The cost is $15 by Jan. 14. Stop by the City Offices to register. The games will begin on Feb. 5.
