Hoisington NHS inducts new members

HOISINGTON — On Sunday, Oct. 20, the Hoisington High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted nine new members. The ceremony was held at the Lee Dicks Auditorium at Hoisington High School with family and friends present.  
New members inducted were: Kelsey Brummer, Abbi Demel, Alyson Klug, Landon Harmon, Brad Reif, Lexi Sanders, Jessica Schauf, Garret Schneider, and Trent Schremmer. Current members Brandon Ball, Kagen Blackwell, Jordin Greer, Ashley Lockwood, Abi Rziha, Presley Smith, and Hannah Wilborn participated in the induction ceremony.

New board members named to Chamber

HOISINGTON — New board members to the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce are Kara Boxberger, Clayton Williamson and Debbie Reif for 2014.

Hoisington Santa’s House hours set

HOISINGTON —Santa’s House will be open Saturday afternoons from 1-3 p.m. Dec. 7 and Dec. 21 and on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6:30–8 p.m. Santa’s House will be located in front of the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce at 123 N. Main Street.


Ellinwood Community Library Holiday hours announced

 ELLINWOOD —The library will close from 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Dec. 1 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The library will reopen with regular hours on Monday, Dec. 2.
