The Ellinwood 15 and under Babe Ruth Baseball team began play last Thursday. All home games will be played at Worman Field in southeast Ellinwood. Games will be double headers, with the first game beginning at 6 p.m., and the second game beginning at approximately 8 p.m. Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will run a concession stand at each of the home games, with hot dogs, cold beverages, and candy for sale. They encourage anyone to come out and support the local team. Their season schedule is as follows: June 14 Ellinwood at Hoisington; June 21 Ellinwood at Lyons; June 23 Great Bend at Ellinwood; June 27 Ellinwood at McPherson; June 30 McPherson at Ellinwood; July 5 Ellinwood at Great Bend; and July 7 Hoisington at Ellinwood.
