Building Indian homes
Ellinwood Grade School fifth graders built Indian homes as a part of a social studies unit on early American Indians. The students created an Indian home depicting the environment of the Indian tribe chosen. Students were asked to find and use authentic materials if possible. First Place was Hunter Smyth, longhouse and honorable mention were Kyle Hayes, Brook Degenhardt, Macy Phillips and Faith Ringering.
