Catholic Schools Week Catholic Schools Week kicked off at the chipper hour of 8 a.m. with Mass at St. Joseph Church in Ellinwood on Sunday. SJS Principal Marlene Clayton unveiled the new mission statement, Growing in faith and knowledge to serve God and community. Open house followed with school doors open to the public so students could show all the hard work put forth this first half of the school year. Above, Isaac Clymer shares one-on-one time with dad Matt while his mother Crysta visited, as did many parents and grandparents walking from classroom to classroom. Isaac is a 6th grader and has two sisters, Lily in 4th grade and Emma in 1st. Catholic schools week theme is communities of faith, knowledge and service.
