HOISINGTON —Clara Barton Hospital is offering expanded Surgical and Specialty Outreach Clinic across the street from the hospital in one building. The building, located at 351 and 353 W. 10th Street in Hoisington, has been renamed to Clara Barton Hospital’s Surgical Specialty and Outreach Clinic.   
Dr. Robin Durrett and Dr. Les Landau to continue to provide surgical services at that location. The renaming of the building to Clara Barton Hospital’s Surgical and Specialty and Outreach Clinic came after the retirement of Dr. Dan Witt and when Dr. Durrett and his professional staff joined Clara Barton Hospital.
The hospital acquired Central Kansas Surgical Services P.A. in Hoisington and Central Kansas Medical Suites, LLC in Great Bend.   Dr. Durrett has been in private practice since 1994.  
“Dr. Durrett is an outstanding general surgeon with excellent surgical outcomes” said Curt Colson, president and CEO of Clara Barton Hospital.  “Dr. Durrett has been a long-standing member on our medical staff, serving the area for 18 plus years.  Hospital leadership and the board of directors felt strongly that his surgical skills are indicative of the quality of care we expect to provide at Clara Barton Hospital and are excited to have Dr. Durrett and his staffed join our healthcare organization.” Dr. Durrett will continue providing surgical care in both Hoisington and Great Bend.
Outreach clinics for visiting specialty physicians are now also offered at the 353 W 10th location.  
“The specialty physicians now have substantially more room for patient care at the new location,” explains Keith Wilborn, vice president clinic operation. “Prior to this relocation, visiting physicians held their clinics at the Clara Barton Medical Clinic. All outreach specialty physician’s including Dr. Youngman, cardiology, Dr. Fan, rehab medicine, Dr. Cheema and Dr. Bassett oorthopedic, Dr. Romito, allergist, and Dr. Robert Weingart, urologist from Hutchinson, hold clinics in SSOC. Clara Barton Hospital will host the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce coffee at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2 at the outreach clinic building. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place after the Hoisington Chamber Coffee. The public is welcome to attend. The ribbon cutting will take place immediately following the coffee, around 10 a.m.
