Claflin EMS personnel were dispatched for three injury auto accidents, a breathing problem, a chest pain call, two "other" medical problems, a lifting assist, a fire standby, a false alarm and stood by for four football games.
Last month fire personnel responded to assist EMS personnel at two injury auto accidents and a structure fire.
In other news, Claflin Fire and EMS personnel met twice in October to clean, maintain, and train with equipment and vehicles. Training sessions included Salvage and Overhaul Operations, Intermediate EMS Skills and Quality Improvement.
Claflin Fire and EMS held it’s annual open house on Oct. 9. A meal was served with a large crowd attending for the drawing. David Kaiser won the grand prize. Claflin Fire and EMS would like to thank everyone in our response area for their continued support for the open house and throughout the year.
