This is Police Chief Dean Akings. Between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 7, a residence at 407 N. Main in Ellinwood was burglarized. The residence was not locked and there was no forced entry.

Stolen were many rings, necklaces, watches, coins and cash. Loss was substantial. If you have information about this crime, or any other crime, call Crime Stoppers at 792-1300 or 888-305-1300.
