ELLINWOOD —Ellinwood High School hosted a debate topic workshop on Aug. 10 for area coaches and students. The guest speaker was Tam Osgood, who presented information about the 2012-13 policy debate topic, transportation infrastructure. In the upcoming school year, high school students from all over the country will be engaging in interscholastic debates on the topic.Osgood a debate coach and lecturer from Kansas City, Mo., started the Little Beast Debate Workshop series in 1990 with 10 students from one high school.
