United Methodist Women hold annual Delectable Delights

ELLINWOOD — The Ellinwood United Methodist Women will be holding its 3rd Annual Delectable Delights on Sunday, Nov. 11.  The event will start at 1 p.m. at the Fire Escape, on 19 N. Main Street in Ellinwood.  The cost is $5 per plate to sample a variety of desserts.  Proceeds go towards UMW missions.

IUCOC holds soup and pie lunch

ELLINWOOD — The Immanuel United Church Christ on West 7th St. will have its annual Food Sale and  vegetable soup and pie lunch at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10. The drawing for the quilt will be at 1 p.m. You need not be present to win. Sale items include baked goods, handcrafted and white elephant items.

Kansas Sidewinders MC to hold Casino Night

ELLINWOOD — One hundred percent of the proceeds will go the United Way of Central Kansas at the annual Kansas Sidewinders MC Casino Night. The event will be held from 7-10 p.m. on Nov. 10 21 N. Main in Ellinwood.
A $20 donation at the door buys $10,000  in chips or two raffle tickets. Raffle items include a flat screen TV, beef bundle, $200 cash and more. There will be a silence auction of 21 special donations from United Way Agencies.
