Ellinwood debate
Members of the Ellinwood High School Debate Team competed at Thomas More Prep on Saturday, Nov. 10. Connor Birzer and Jenna Snell place 4th in the open division with a 3-2 record, followed by Tawny Arndt and Megan Orndoff who placed 5th. Arndt placed 3rd in the top speaker awards for the division. In novice, Josiah Caspers and Connor Ewing also posted a 3-2 record, and Ewing placed 6th in the novice speaker awards. EHS competes at Kingman on Nov. 17. The students are coached by Julie Ann Jacobs and Angela Petersen.
