ELLINWOOD — The Ellinwood High School Forensics Team will compete at the KSHSAA 2A State Forensics Championships at Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita on Saturday, May 4.
After participating in nine tournaments since January, the team completed its invitational season on Thursday, April 18 at Southeast of Saline.
Twelve students finished the season qualified for state competition, including: seniors, Connor Birzer, Hannah Maddy, Jenna Snell, and Stephanie Troyer; juniors, Hannah Billinger, Jenna Collins, Megan Orndoff, and Rachel Schloctermeier; sophomores, Tawny Arndt and Shiani Hughes; and freshman, Tamika Arndt and Josiah Caspers.
The students are coached by Julie Ann Jacobs and Angela Petersen.
