Approximately 104 calls for service and 154 Officer initiated calls were received for the month of March. Officers responded to 19 medical/fire calls and worked two non-injury accidents. Thirteen arrests were made and 19 criminal summonses were served in the month of March.

David Roach was arrested in the 500 block of South Main for drivin while suspended and transportation of open container. Roach was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 500 block of West 7th.

A runaway report was taken in the 100 block of West 5th.
Paul Poteet was arrested in the 300 block of East SantaFe for driving while suspended. Poteet was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Veronica Vega-Orona was arrested in the 500 block of West SantaFe for driving while suspended. Vega-Orona was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A non-injury accident report was taken in the 500 block of South Bismark.
March 7
Jacqueline Hudson was arrested in the 100 block of Park for no drivers license. Hudson was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Zachary Rocha was arrested in the 100 block of North Schiller for driving while suspended. Rocha was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

A theft, escape from custody, obstruction of official duty report was taken in the 300 block of East SantaFe.
A juvenile was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Justice Authority, where he was released to a Juvenile Intake Officer.
A possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia report was taken in the 300 block of West 5th.
March 23
Stephanie King and Mark Rehme were served criminal summons for dogs running at large.
March 24
An unattended death report was taken in the 100 block of West B.
Lacy Prather-Welch and Jason King were arrested in the 200 block of South Main for battery, domestic violence. Prather-Welch and King were transported to the Barton County Jail, where they were booked and confined in lieu of bond.
March 25
Karla Monday was arrested in the 300 block of Wieland on a Hays Municipal Warrant. Monday was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Mark Rehme was arrested in the 200 block of West B on an Ellinwood Municipal Warrant for failure to serve sentence. Rehme was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined until the sentence was served.
