The 6th annual Fall Fun Festival for Kans for Kids will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sun., Oct. 2 at the Kyle and Melinda Kasselman Farm west of Claflin.
Because the crowd has grown so over the past 6 years, there will be no public parking at the farm this year.
Free busing from Central Plains High School in Claflin will be provided. You may: 1) Drop your group off at the farm (1 mile south of Hwy 4 on the Camp Aldrich Road) and the driver proceed into Claflin and return to the farm on the bus, or 2) Your entire group may ride the bus to the farm. A bus will shuttle attendees every few minutes. All children must be accompanied by an adult at the farm.
Enjoy Kasey the Clown, a free petting zoo with lots of new and exciting animals this year, purchase pumpkins and gourds for fall, and bring your camera and have your photo taken with Miss Kansas International, Jen Mangum.
More games have been added this year: basketball hoops, gunny sack slide, pumpkin bowling, ping pong shoot, in addition to the bounce house, pitcher pump rackes, steer roping, ring around the pumpkin, hay jump, face and nail painitng, pumpkin sling shot, putting green and more.
There will also be pony cart rides, horse drawn wagon rides and a new ride, a barrel train.
Lone Wolf Restaurant and Catering will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs for the event. Nachos, cookies, snacks and drinks will also be available.Tickets are 50 cents. All proceeds go to Kans for Kids Fighting Cancer Foundation. Come celebrate fall and help Barton county kids living with cancer.

This event began for Kylee Kasselman’s 8th birthday. It has grown tremendously. We in Kans for Kids are so grateful for the dedication, hard work, compassion and generosity of Kylee and her parents as they continue to host this event each year.
