Family and Consumer Science students from Hoisington High School traveled to Topeka for FCS Day.

HOISINGTON —Seven members of the Hoisington high school FCCLA chapter along with advisor, Karla Reisner and principal, Meg Wilson traveled to Topeka on March 12 for FCS day on the hill.
Students set up their displays from STAR events this year, and shared them with the public, senators, and representatives. Students who attended were Kayleigh Bitter, Kylie Broeder, Jessica Schauf, Brennan Knapp, Justin Umphrey, Spencer Romeiser, and Devan Donovan.
Knapp said, “It was interesting talking to the senators and seeing their opinions on our events, and to see other schools projects that were done throughout the state.”
