Girl Scouts
Girls Scouts of Ellinwood have wrapped up the year. Cake and punch were served after a celebration. Several girls bridged to the next step of scouting, and others graduated from scouting. Some activities the girls participated in included learning how to be kind in what we do and say, standing up for ones self and each other, baking and giving it away, sewing blankets as gifts, traveling to different adventures, sharing time with the elderly and making new friends. A few of the leaders were recognized for being leaders for seven years. Cookie and nut sales were the ways the girls earned money for their troop activities. The top sellers in cookies this year were Macy Munson, 552; Bayle Sandy, 225; Lauren Knop, 108; Allison McReynolds, 115; Brooke McReynolds, 115; Eva Quintana, 167; Bailey Baird, 307; and not pictured, Sierra Martin, 164.
