ELLINWOOD — Bank of the West today announced that Freddy Gunn Jr. has been named Bank of the West assistant vice president and branch manager. In his role, Gunn is responsible for the overall operations, customer service, performance and profitability of the branch, as well as community outreach activities. He will be based at the Bank of the West branch located at 19 N. Humboldt Avenue in Ellinwood.
Gunn has more than eight years of banking experience and most recently served as customer service manager of the Ellinwood Bank of the West branch. Among his numerous professional and civic affiliations, Gunn is a member of K-State Research and Extension of Barton County and is on the Finance Council of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. He has also accepted a position as board member on the Ellinwood Chamber of Commerce. Gunn has a bachelor’s degree in history from Fort Hays State University. He currently resides in Ellinwood.
