Community Thanksgiving church service to be held

HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18,  at the First Church of the Nazarene, W. 5th & Vine Streets in Hoisington.  
The service is being sponsored by the Hoisington Ministerial Association. There will be a freewill offering during the service.  Funds received are used to help local residents with rent, and utilities.  Refreshments will be served following the service in the fellowship hall next to the church.  
Anyone is welcome to come.

USD 403 to have regular board meeting

OTIS —USD 403 will have it regular board of education meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the district office. On the agenda is public open forum, audit report, appointment of KASB delegate, delegate assembly legislative committee report, negotiating team, amendment to Plan 403B and executive session.

Hoisington City Council to meet on Tuesday

HOISINGTON — The Hoisington City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the city building instead of on Monday due to the Veteran’s Day holiday.
