Hoisington announces trash pickup for holiday
HOISINGTON — The trash pickup for the city of Hoisington will be bumped back a day for the Memorial Day holiday week to Friday and Saturday.


Fund raiser for Oklahoma tornado victims
HOISINGTON — There will be a pulled pork fundraiser to benefit the Oklahoma tornado victims and families  from noon to 5 p.m. on May 25. Cost is $5 a plate.
The fund raiser will be held on Main Street north of Wilson State Bank.
Donations will be accepted. One hundred percent of the process will be donated to the Oklahoma American Red Cross.
