Downtown Christmas lights

The Christmas Lighting Committee is considering changing the Christmas lights to LED bulbs. Approximately 20 LED bulbs are being displayed on the north side of the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce building. The LED bulbs, as well as, the regular bulbs will be lit for approximately 2 weeks from 8:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. Please drive by and take a look, then let the chamber know your thoughts.
The LED bulb lasts 5 – 7 times longer and uses less electricity than the standard bulb. The only drawback is the cost of the LED bulb is substantially higher. The Christmas Light Fund Committee is accepting donations at this time for the lights at this time.
