HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Cardinal Forensics Team wrapped up its 2011 season with two medalists at state competition, held May 7 at East High School in Wichita.

Jordan Klima, senior, won third place in Humorous Solo Acting. Ashley McHenry, senior, placed sixth in Serious Solo Acting.

Other competitors included seniors Ryan Friedly and Talisha Hesher, sophomores Jacob Durrett and Olivia Lowry, and freshman Shannon Manka. In order to participate in state-level competition, students must win first or second place in an event at a regular season tournament.
