HOISINGTON —The Hoisington Public Library has been the place to be on Wednesday afternoons through the month of June as young readers have gathered to enjoy a special program each week during the annual Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is Dream Big: Read!
The ceiling of the children’s library has been transformed into a night sky filled with stars where children who ‘dream big’ gather for a different educational program each week.
Sternberg Museum was on tap for this week’s program.
The final session of the 2012 Summer Reading Program will be held on June 27 with a movie and popcorn planned for all those who have participated in the program this year.
Approximately 90 children were enrolled this summer with Tedi Lacey and Diane Harmon coordinating the program.
