undraiser to be held as Kasselman farm

Kasselman Farms, 1017 NE 100 Rd., will hold its 5th annual Kans for Kids Fall Fun Festival fundraiser from 1 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 3. This event was created by Kylee Kasselman, 12, Claflin, for her 8th birthday. It has grown tremendously over the past five years. "What a generous and unselfish act for a child and her family to do each year for Kans for Kids," said Debbie Reif, Kans for Kids.

They are currently providing financial and emotional support for 13 year old Aaron Fryberger, and 6 year old Dade Cannon, both of Great Bend, and 11 year old Tanner Blackwell, Hoisington. All three boys are being treated for types of leukemia.

Some of the activities are a Petting Zoo, Kasey the Clown, Bounce House, Face Painting, Finger Nail Designs, Golf Putting Green, Pumpkin Throw, Pitcher Pump Race, Hay Jump, Steer Roping and Ring Around a Pumpkin.

Some of the other activities are Pony Cart Rides and Horse Drawn Wagon Rides.

Refreshments will be served.

All proceeds go Kans for Kids.

Directions to the farm from Claflin are three miles west to Camp Aldrich Black Top and one mile south, 1/4 mile east.
