Leadership students Each nine weeks Hoisington Middle School faculty and staff choose students who have shown leadership throughout our school. This can include being respectful to adults and students, improving in grades, being helpful in and out of the classroom and just showing leadership qualities. To promote these qualities, students participate in a Leadership Luncheon. The chosen students leave campus to eat with the principal, counselor, and a teacher. The students had lunch at Pizza Hut on March 15. Pictured front row are: Nick Long, Derek Boxberger, Rheanna Spires, Val Castro-Huffman, Taylor Jimison, Trinity Dolezal; back row, Megan Schroeder, Jeremy Breit, Alycca Fry, Braden Konzem, Abby Boeck, Lacee Keller and Passion Martinez. Also, recipients of PRIDE T-shirts for third nine weeks are Trey Byers, Aurora Ingram, Austin Strandberg, Paige Schoonmaker, Brian Fry and Tommy Potter. These students are allowed to go to the front of the lunch line and be exempt from one daily grade.
