HOISINGTON — Clara Barton Hospital announced that Rebecca Mauler, radiologic technologist, recently earned national credentials in ultrasound. Mauler earned credentials from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). She is a graduate of Fort Hays State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Radiology in 2009.
"This certification is such a great accomplishment for a radiologic technologist," explains Betty Evers director of Radiology at Clara Barton Hospital. "Rebecca, like many Clara Barton employees, strives for continuous learning so that she can continue to provide the best patient service. Her recent credentials in Ultrasound offers advanced professional skills and educational background to our radiology team and to our patients.
"Having this certification will allow CBH to schedule ultrasounds on a more regular basis," said Betty Evers, director of Radiology.
The ARDMS is a nationally recognized organization that promotes high standards of patient care by recognizing qualified individuals in medical diagnostic ultrasound. ARDMS provides a mechanism to recognize individuals who continue to demonstrate their qualifications through adherence to the standards of professional behavior and compliance with continuing education requirements.
