Nurses week
On Tuesday, May 8, Nurses at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington celebrated their time honored profession with a white-out day. A few of Clara Barton Hospital nurses, Paula Hofmeister, Kacey Demel, Stacey Vincent, Kristen Lashley and Jane Schepmann posed for a group photo in their traditional white nursing uniforms. Stacey Vincent is wearing her grandmothers uniform. In addition, a nursing uniform and cap from 1948 was also on display in the Turnbull safe room thanks to Judy Loesch, Radiology staff member, who brought in her mothers, Eva Lavon Fakes, St. Francis School of Nursing uniform, LPN pin and cap.
