Punt, Pass & Kick
The Ellinwood Optimist Clubs Punt, Pass & Kick Competition was held Oct. 2 at the Ellinwood Sports Complex. There were 16 participants ranging in age from 8 through 12. The winners were: 8-year-old division, 1st Caleb Bookout, 2nd Ryan Niles, 3rd Dylan White; 9-year-old division, 1st Kody Koetter, 2nd Luke Wondra, 3rd Tyler Knop; 10-year-old division, 1st Kodie McFaren, 2nd Jayce Christiansen, 3rd Destin Baker; 11-year-old division, 1st Lucky Baker; 12-year- old division, 1st Theron Sjogren, 2nd Connor Ewing, 3rd Laura Standlee.These winners will be acknowledged prior to the start of the Ellinwood High football game on Oct. 15.
