Sour or sweet?
Alaina Espinosa, Roosevelt Elementary School kindergartner in Hoisington, tries to decided if the grapefruit she is trying is sour or sweet. The school, like many throughout the county, received a grant to provide fruits and vegetables to the school for the children to try. These have included such fruits as honeydew and cantaloupe to cabbage and turnips.
