Summer fun The Ellinwood City Pool opened on Memorial Day with approximately 176 swimmers of all ages, which is 76 more than last year. Water temperature were barely 75 degrees, but the air temperature almost reached lower 90s. Thats five more degrees than last year. There about twelve life guards and four pool managers working hard to make the city pool a safe clean, place for all to enjoy during the summer. Hours are Sunday-Friday 1-5:30 p.m. Adult swim 6-7p.m. , open swim 7-8:30p.m, and on Saturday 1- 6 p.m. Swim lessons are forming now, call 564-3441 for more information. - photo by TRACY K.
