HOISINGTON — Rhonda Templing was recognized for completing the Parish Ministry Associate Program on May 31, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington, She was also commissioned for her ministry to Emmanuel as a PMA.

The Parish Ministry Associate Program is an educational program sponsored and endorsed by the Central States Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The focus of the program is to deepen the laity’s understanding of their faith so they can minister more effectively with the gifts God has given them.

Templing is from Hoisington and is a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She is past president of the Central State Synod Women of the ELCA.
