ELLINWOOD — The vocal and instrumental departments at USD 355 will combine this year presenting their spring concerts. The High School Band and Vocal Concert will be held Monday, May 9, at 7 p.m. in Ellinwood High School old gym. Groups performing will be the concert band, percussion ensemble, concert choir and Mystic Blues. Additionally, students will be honored for their good showing at state music festivals this year and for their contribution to the music programs at EHS.

On Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., the Ellinwood Middle School Band and Vocal Concert will be held in the old gym. This concert will feature the middle school band, and the middle school Mixed Choir, Girls Chorus and Boys Chorus. Band Director is Don Regehr and Vocal Director is Lori Underwood.

These are final concerts for Underwood in the Ellinwood School District. She will begin her new job as vocal music teacher at Ottawa High School this fall. The public is invited to attend.
