Great Bend police made a narcotics arrest at 1:38 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Jackson Street, after a driver allegedly failed to use her turn signal.
Kelsey Ward, Great Bend, was arrested for possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia and other charges. She was booked in at the Barton County Jail and released after posting a $10,000 surety bond.
A GBPD officer made a narcotics arrest at 9:28 p.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of 10th Street. Eugene Black, Great Bend, was arrested for multiple charges, including distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of cocaine, meth and marijuana. Black was booked in lieu of $100,000 bond.

LINDSBORG — Great Bend watercolorist and Barton Community College Coordinator of Workforce Training Events Krystall Barnes is a featured artist through October 21 at the Birger Sandzen Memorial Gallery in Lindsborg. Her exhibition of original watercolor paintings is entitled “Emergence.”
