Summer break is almost over, and it’s time to start planning for the 2013-2014 school year.  That means it’s almost time for fall sports, both for athletes and fans.
Renewal notices for Great Bend High School reserved season football ticket have been emailed to 2012 season ticket holders. If you had tickets last year, but did not receive notification, please contact the Activities Office at 620-793-1560. Seating will open to the public later in August, once the renewal process is complete. Home games for Great Bend High School are Sept. 6 vs. Hoisington, Sept. 13 vs. Ulysses, Oct. 4 vs. Dodge City (Homecoming), Oct. 11 vs. Liberal and Oct. 25 vs. Salina Central.
Panther Cards are available in the Activities Office at Great Bend High School. The cards are $20 and include over 70 local businesses, multiple locations, out of town and on-line offers.
Proceeds from the sales help support our Panther athletics program throughout the year.  
Free physicals for USD 428 high school and middle school athletes will be given August 10th at Great Bend High School. Physical forms were mailed in July and will be available at enrollment if you did not receive yours.  Parents are asked to complete the forms and send them with their students on Aug. 10.  Students are reminded to exit through the main doors of the high school to receive a copy of their completed physical form.
Activity passes for Great Bend High School students will be sold at enrollment. The activity pass admits students to all home, regular season athletic events, as well as the Back-to-School Dance scheduled for August 23rd.  The card is $25 and should be paid with fees at enrollment.
High School students were emailed information regarding club membership enrollment fees and class T-shirt sales.  Students are asked to complete the form and return it with payment at enrollment. These fees must be paid with cash or a check separate from enrollment. Both cash payments and checks must be for the exact amount.   No change will be available.
