Three people were injured in a collision at 3:26 p.m. Thursday on K-4 at NW 90 Ave., 1 mile north of Olmitz.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Cassidy James Moos, 18, of Olmitz, was in a southbound Buick on NW 90 Ave. and failed to stop at the stop sign. An  eastbound Chevrolet truck pulling a  Titan trailer, driven by Raul Rivas-Cruz, 45, Great Bend, hit the car and entered the southeast ditch, where it overturned. The Buick also entered the southeast ditch.
Moos was not wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, where he was listed in fair condition on Saturday, according to a hospital spokesman.
Rivas-Cruz was taken to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington, as was his passenger, Javier Lopez-Chaves, 35, of Rio Rancho, N.M . Both were wearing seat belts.
Two injured in Ellsworth County
KHP also reports two motorists were injured in separate accidents Friday on Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County.
A 70-year-old Goddard man was taken to Wesley Medical Center after rolling a Ford pickup at 2:40 p.m., 1.1 miles west of the K-14 exit. William G. McKinley was westbound when he fell asleep. The pickup drifted off the right-hand side of the road and entered the ditch. McKinley woke up and attempted to steer back onto the roadway, but over-corrected, which resulted in the vehicle re-entering the north ditch and overturning. He was in serious condition Saturday.
At 11:22 p.m., a semitrailer hit a cow 0.1 miles west of the K-70 and K-156 Junction.
The Freightliner semi was pulling two trailers when the driver, Troy Smith, 57, of Wichita, struck the cow and lost control of the vehicle, which continued into the north ditch, hitting other cattle, and eventually rolled 1.5 times, coming to rest on its top. Smith was taken to Salina Regional Health Center.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
