Two men were taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital and a third man was arrested early Saturday at a Great Bend residence, the Great Bend Police Department reports.
Officers were dispatched to 327 Frey St. at 1:16 a.m. When they arrived they found Manuel Rivera-Martinez, 33, had been stabbed in the chest and stomach, and Enrique Lira Jr. had head injuries from being hit with a bat. Manuel Rivera-Martinez was later transferred to Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita, while Lira was treated and released.
Abel Rivera-Martinez, 25, was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on a charge of aggravated battery. Bond was set at $20,000.
According to police logs, police were called to the same address at 10:54 p.m. Friday, and at that time Lira said a man pulled a gun on him and his family. Lira identified that individual only by a first name.
According to a statement released Monday, other suspects are still at large, and anyone with information is asked to call the GBPD, 793-4120.

Great Bend Fire Department ambulance and the Barton County Sheriff’s Office assisted on the second call.
