Offiers' raid yields drugs, guns, money

A “sizeable amount” of suspected methamphetamine, cash and firearms was seized Wednesday evening when law enforcement officers searched a home at 301 Chestnut St. in Great Bend.
Officers from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Barton County Sheriff’s Office and Great Bend Police Department jointly executed a narcotics search warrant on the residence around 8:30 p.m. According to a statement released Thursday, a 48-year-old man was arrested pending filing of formal charges by the Barton County Attorney’s Office, and the investigation continues.
