A Great Bend man was treated and released for injuries after a rollover accident Sunday afternoon in Barton County.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to NW 20 Ave. and NW 20 Road around 4:54 p.m., after a caller reported Vince Thompson, 21, had rolled a vehicle about 45 minutes earlier. They found a 1980 Chevy Luv pickup in the 200 block of NW 20 Ave.
Thompson told deputies that he was driving north and the truck started to slide after he went over a bump at the intersection. Thompson over-corrected and lost control of the truck, which spun out and went into the ditch, where it rolled one time.
He was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital by private vehicle.
