A 20-foot travel trailer located near the city of Albert was destroyed by a fire Tuesday night. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office reports arson is suspected and the case is under investigation.

The fire in the 1200 block of NW 100 Road was reported at 11:09 a.m. Albert Fire Department responded, along with Hoisington Fire Department offering mutual assistance. According to BCSO reports, the trailer was completely engulfed in flames. The trailer and its contents were a total loss.

A storage garage and its contents were also damaged in the fire. Neither the trailer nor the shed was occupied at the time of the fire.
