Two injured after wreck in Stafford County

Two residents of Great Bend were injured after a wreck at 10 a.m. on Friday in Stafford County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log,  a 2004 Ford car driven by Edwin R. Evans, 81, Great Bend, was stopped southbound on U.S. 281 at the U.S. 50 intersection.
Evans made a left turn in front of a 2008 Mercury car driven by William F. Ruckle, 72, of Hutchinson, who was traveling westbound. The vehicles collided at the intersection.
Evans and a passenger, Peggy S. Evans, 78, Great Bend were transported to Stafford County Hospital. They have since been released.
Ruckle and two passengers were not injured.
All were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
