It’s not too early to think about Valentine’s Day, especially with Great Bend Community Theatre offering a limited number of dinner theater tickets for Feb. 14.
One hundred VIP tickets will be sold to the opening night of “Enchanted April,” a romantic comedy showing Feb. 14-17. The tickets, which cost $50 per person, include a three-course Italian gourmet dinner at Maggie’s Bar, 1318 Kansas Ave., followed by the play, just around the corner at the Crest Theater, 1905 Lakin Ave., with preferred seating.
Expect an elegant dinner, complete with white tablecloths, flowers, candlelight, wine and entertainment, said Jerry Renk, president of the GBCT Board of Directors. People who treat themselves to the dinner theater will also help a capital improvements campaign.
“This event will kick off our new ‘Equip the Arts at the Crest Campaign’ to raise money for new lighting and sound equipment for the Crest Theater,” Renk said. “This event is a unique opportunity to do something special for Valentine’s Day, while supporting a cultural icon of our community.”
The dinner tickets are available for purchase by calling Colleen Renk at 701-471-8482 or leaving a message at the Crest Theater, 620-792-4228.
People will be able to purchase tickets for the production, without the dinner option, during regular box office hours. To see a complete schedule of Great Bend Community Theatre productions, visit their website at www.gbct.net or find them on Facebook.
