Winter weather returns for Spring Expo

Cold and freezing rain nixed outdoor activities around Great Bend Saturday, but several still came out for the Central Kansas Spring Expo at the Expo building at the Barton County fairgrounds.  Both Expo one and two, plus the courtyard in between were full, but wind and moisture kept most visitors inside.

Exhibitors from numerous area companies displayed products for both the patio and inside the home, while booths from area organizations, like the Golden Belt Humane Society, offered information.  GBHS volunteer RaShann Southard brought along a shelter dog, Dolly, who visited briefly with a Standard Poodle owned by Bobbie King, a Great Bend groomer and dog-trainer.   For more information about Dolly, you can view her profile on https://www.facebook.com/pages/Golden-Belt-Humane-Society/415395048510798?fref=ts.

The Central Kansas Spring Expo will continue today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
