Auctioneer Kenny Schremmer takes a bid at the Great Bend City Auction, Friday evening in front of the police station. Surplus equipment and confiscated items went to the highest bidders. Items included bicycles, pickups and a city dump truck in need of a brake job. There were also planters, bleachers, a backyard pond and electronic items for sale.
