USD 428 will soon open online enrollment for returning students.
Beginning on Monday, July 20, parents and guardians will be able to enroll their students from home or school. Also new this year is the option to pay for all fees with a credit card or debit card. Families with students in multiple schools will be able to enroll each child at one sitting and then pay for the total payment at the end of the process.
Parents will also have the ability to pay for school lunches online.
“We hope that you will find online enrollment helpful and possibly more convenient than physically enrolling at each school,” said Jan Frenzl, district applications specialist.
Users should go to the USD 428 website, www.usd428.net. A Family Access account is needed to complete the online enrollment process. Those who do not have an account or who need assistance should contact an elementary or secondary school office.
The final step before completion is to make a fee payment, if desired. Making payments online is not required, and those who prefer can pay at the school office. Partial or full payments can be made online using Discover, Visa or Mastercard. Those who pay online will be charged 3.49 percent of the total fee.
Walk-in enrollment will still be available at the following times:
• Elementary schools – Aug. 4, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Aug. 5, 1-7 p.m.
• Great Bend Middle School – Aug. 4 and 5, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Great Bend High School – Aug. 4 and 5, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Families new to USD 428 will need to enroll at the school.
