Life put her on a new journey, Jones writes on her ministry website, lorajones.org. Her faith was put to the test. It is her desire to share with others the answers she has discovered: Pain comes from so many sources, but hope and joy are available from only one true source.

Seniors Ministry
KSAM meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the First Assembly of God’s Youth Chapel. The church is at 601 Patton Road in Great Bend, and entry to the chapel is through the door on the northeast corner of the church, facing Patton Road.
The group is also planning a pot luck and fellowship for the Sept. 17 meeting, spokesman Leslie Mayo said. This group of adults, mostly 55-plus, is sponsored by First Assembly but open to any adult. (There’s no baby-sitter available.)
Mayo said KSAM doesn’t meet in the winter but there will be a meeting on Oct. 15, when “Honest Abe will talk about our Christian heritage.”
